This module is a summary of the full Adult Cardiac Assessment course. It highlights cardiac risk factors review, history taking and interview techniques, common causes of chest pain, assessment tips, chest pain treatments and indications for thrombolytic therapy are also discussed in this module.
This course has the goal of facilitating knowledge and confidence in the care of the cardiac patient. Adult Cardiac Assessment Fast Track is also used as a great refresher for nurses who have experience in cardiology, critical care or emergency nursing.
TARGET audience
Adult Cardiac Fast Track is designed for nurses who are confident in their cardiac assessment skills. This course serves as a refresher course for nurses who currently work in the cardiac arena or critical care areas.
